Rose Ayling-Ellis has revealed she wants to return to the world of Strictly Come Dancing – so she can give tips to her former dance partner Giovanni Pernice.
Rose and Giovanni lifted the glitterball trophy last year on BBC’s Strictly after stunning the nation with their silent dance to Clean Bandit’s hit song Symphony.
EastEnders star Rose made history on the show as the first deaf person to win the competition, but her achievements haven’t stopped there.
That’s because the pair’s emotional silent dance won them the gong for Virgin Media’s Must-See Moment at the BAFTA TV Awards in London on Sunday (May 8).
Rose said winning the BAFTA was a “very special moment” for her and Giovanni and added: “Hopefully it’s shown how powerful TV can be, where actually it can influence and change things.”
The lovable pair spoke exclusively to Daily Star and other press about their unbreakable bond at the Winners’ Press Conference after picking up their award at the event.
When asked if they would ever work together again on another project, Rose said: “Of course, of course. Of course we want to work together.”
Giovanni then said: “Our friendship and relationship goes beyond dancing. We’re definitely going to be working together again.”
Rose added: “We’re always going to be supporting of each-other, whatever we’re going to do.”
Giovanni then gushed: “Next time, I said to Rose, I want to see her on stage winning the BAFTA for Leading Actress.”
They were then quizzed on how strange they think it’ll be when Giovanni dances with another celeb on the next series of the BBC show.
The Italian insisted he wasn’t planning to quit Strictly anytime soon as quitting ‘isn’t in his DNA’.
Turning to Rose, Giovanni said: “She’ll be there. She’ll be there, supporting me all the way, won’t you?”
Rose said: “I’ll be there supporting. He’ll be fine. I would be like, Right, I’ll come in and look after his new partner.”
Despite being a dancing pro, Giovanni revealed that Rose wouldn’t be afraid to criticise his positions if they weren’t up to scratch.

He said: “You know what she always says? She’ll be the one who criticises me if the positions aren’t great.”
Rose replied: “I wouldn’t say it to your partner, I’d say it to you!”
Rose was then asked if she thinks she’ll get jealous when she sees Giovanni dancing with another star.
The actress said: “I wouldn’t be jealous at all, cause look at what we’ve achieved. I’d support his new partner.”
