Emmerdale viewers were left gobsmacked during the latest instalment of the ITV soap as Cain Dingle recalled his affair with Angie Reynolds
During Friday’ s (May 13) episode, Cain had a frank talk with Noah Dingle (Jack Downham) about his sexual harassment of Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland).
Cain revealed some of his immoral past deeds to Noah and revisited his past with Angie.
As the viewers were taken for a stroll down memory lane, some took to social media to share their thoughts.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: Yeah Cain, we remember Angie Reynolds. You slept with her underage daughter Ollie too.”
Another added: “Glad cain mentioned Angie and when he broke up with her he went with her daughter Ollie for revenge.”
A third person posted:”He deliberately slept with her underage daughter to get back at her Noah”
While a fourth social media user said: “Yes Cain, Noah is a sicko, but so are you for what happened 20 years back!”
Avid soap fans will remember police officer Angie appeared on Emmerdale with her family from 1999 to 2002.

After a fling with the criminal Cain, Angie came to her senses and tried to call it off.
Cain was devastated as he’d fallen in love and vowed to get revenge.
He then stared to pursue Angie’s 15-year-old daughter Ollie, warning Angie to resume the affair or he will sleep with her.

Angie reluctantly agreed, but after being late for a rendezvous, Cain ends up bedding Ollie.
Cain’s affairs with both Angie and Ollie came to light, ending up with him being beat up by Angie’s husband Sean in front of the village.
Angie tried to trick Cain into robbing Tate Haulage, pretending to be in on the act but really wanting to arrest him.
Cain eventually gets away and in the car chase with Angie and another detective, the police car flips.
Angie later died in Cain’s arms, with Cain begging Angie to say she loved him.
Elsewhere in the episode, Noah’s mum Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) reported her son to the police after the incident with Chloe.
