Britain's Got Talent fans rage as ITV is forced to delay programme in huge shake-up

Britain’s Got Talent fans were up in arms that their favourite show was forced to face setbacks as a result of Liverpool lifting the FA Cup trophy on Saturday (May 14).

While the show did go eventually, it didn’t go unnoticed by those watching at home that the programme had not kicked off at it’s allotted time slot of 8pm.

With Liverpool’s win dominating screens, BGT fans were left disappointed that their beloved programme was five minutes delayed.

Viewers in their masses took to the social media platform Twitter to fume about the situation.

One confused person penned: “My telly says #BGT is on. But it’s football? Can it just go away now.”

Meanwhile, fans were not disappointed when a real life “action man” appeared on the programme.

Tulga demonstrated jaw-dropping strength as he appeared on the stage while carrying an enormous and lengthy piece of wood.

Things certainly heated up when crew appeared on the stage to ignite the large plank that took up most of the stage.

As the huge item began to burn, even the judges could feel the warmth from the flames as judge Alesha Dixon comments: “Wow, you can feel the heat from here.”

If that wasn’t enough for fans to contend with, Tulga once again showcased his incredible strength as he was elevated from the ceilings using his bicep power to keep his body from falling.

The enflamed wood was handed to Tulga and he gripped onto the burning object using just his mouth.

Lead judge Simon was so impressed that he offered the muscle man a job, he said: “I want you to become my body guard”, which received a ripple of laughter from the audience.

Britain’s Got Talent airs on ITV on Saturday’s from 8pm.
