Ulrika Jonsson shows off ageless beauty in selfie after saying 'body is falling apart'

Ulrika Jonsson has posted a wholesome selfie showing off her glowing skin and shiny hair after saying that she believes her “body is falling apart”.

The TV presenter shared the image on Instagram with the caption: “Been a good girl today”.

The Celebs Go Dating star recently confessed that the debilitating arthritis means she may have to have a hip replacement.

It also really affects her sleep, Ulrika said.

She added: “When I’m in bed, of course, if you do fall asleep you’re probably lying in a pretty stationary position, and sometimes I struggle to get that first movement out of my body.

“Nobody likes to lose sleep, it’s so debilitating. I go through periods of time when it’s pretty horrendous.”

Ulrika, 54, also spoke about her dread of the op and how she sees it as a “slippery slope to old age”.

Speaking to the Mail Online, she said: “I’ve got a couple of friends who have had hip replacements and they’re a bit older than me and I just thought that’s not really something I want to be contemplating already.”

Ulrika, a mum of four, added: “For me it was a bit of fear and panic because you just think it’s not really something you can halt. This is a sign that my body is falling apart”.

Ulrika admitted that she is a very active person and spends a lot of her time gardening or walking, so the news of her hip made her panic.

The star explained that she has started doing Zero Gravity Pilates to cope with her dire spells of arthritis that occasionally leave her thinking “I can’t move.”

The former weather presenter was diagnosed with the degenerative condition in both hips around four years ago and has been forced to give up running because of it.

She explained: “I started about a month ago, Zero Gravity Pilates. It’s using that reformer that piece of equipment that looks like something out of Fifty Shades of Grey and because it’s zero gravity you’re not putting any pressure on the muscles.”

Ulrika is most recently known for starring in Celebs Go Dating

During an appearance on TalkTV’s The Talk last month, Ulrika spoke candidly about HRT (hormone replacement therapy) which has helped ease her condition.

She explained she takes it in various forms said: “I need to know that I have it there.”
