Millie Bobby Brown begged Netflix bosses for her Stranger Things character to be killed

Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown has admitted asking show bosses to kill off her character.

Millie has already been discussing season five of the hit Netflix show ahead of season four launching on Friday and confessed she hopes to see Eleven and other main cast members being massacred.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting the follow up to season three since 2019 and are keen to see where things are heading next for the residents of Hawkins, Indiana.

Talking in a new interview Millie, 18, jokingly teased what she hopes is coming in the series as she referenced the shock death and subsequent resurrection of David Harbour’s character Jim Hopper at the end of the third season.

She said: “You need to start killing people off. We need to have the mindset of Game of Thrones. Kill me off! They tried killing David off and they brought him back!

“I am scared to vocalise anything that I want, because it always turns into ‘Millie Bobby Brown demands this storyline. I’m just going to say I trust the Duffer brothers and their creative process.”

Co-star Noah Schnapp then agreed: “One of us will die. Or more. The cast is so big.”

Fans have already been given some hints to where season four will take the group when part one drops on Netflix on Friday (May 27).

The storyline will pick up six months on from the season three finale and will see the friends separated after Eleven lost her telekinetic powers.

A supernatural enemy, Vecna, appears and embarks upon a killing spree, meanwhile, Eleven and Will are in California adapting to their new life, while Hopper is seen in Russia locked away in a snowy wasteland.

In the new season, strangeness is afoot as a supernatural antihero named Vecna starts murdering townspeople. In California, Eleven and Will adjust to life away from the gang, and in Russia, Hopper is imprisoned in a snowy wasteland.

The official Netflix season synopsis reads: “Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time – and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier.

“In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.”

Meanwhile, it has already been confirmed that season five will be the last run of the show.

Stranger Things season four part one drops on Netflix on May 27, with part two scheduled for release on July 1.
