Judge Craig Revel Horwood has also been cast as director for the stage show and while the threesome have been acquainted in the past, Maisie and Kevin still had to go through the lengthy audition process.

Kevin told viewers: “I still had to audition for the show. Obviously, Craig has never seen me act and sing but he’s seen my dancing isn’t half bad over the years.”

According to the professional dancer Maisie “smashed her audition”.
