Tom Parker's widow Kelsey's pal names baby after late star in touching tribute

Tom Parker’s wife Kelsey took on best friend duties as her pal Rosie gave birth to her son and Kelsey was there every step of the way.

The 33-year-old was her friend’s birthing partner and documented the whole process on Instagram.

Kelsey labelled her personal trainer pal as Tom’s “third wife” and Rosie heartwarmingly named her newborn after the singer.

Tom Parker, known for being one fifth of band The Wanted, died on March 30 after a long battle with brain cancer.

He was diagnosed in October 2020 after he had been suffering from seizures and outlived all expectations.

The singer joined his bandmates on their final Greatest Hits tour and died shortly after, leaving behind his widow Kelsey and their two young children.

Tom and Kelsey were very close to their pal

Kelsey proudly shared the Reel on her Instagram profile, which featured the song Baby Boy by Big Brovaz that played along with the video.

She said that she was “so honoured” to help Rosie, who was introduced to the couple as “no more than a personal trainer”, welcome her little one into the world.

She lovingly told her 334,000 followers: “I helped Tom pass over and I helped baby Tommy enter this world. I feel so overwhelmed but so proud.”

Kelsey documented every detail

Baby Tommy was delivered eight weeks to the day after Tom passed back in March.

Kelsey went on to say that after they were introduced to Rosie, the trio quickly became best pals and she was his “third wife” after their friend Kelsey Ann.

Kelsey said that Rosie had “trained Tom, looked after his diet, exercise and daily needs” throughout his diagnosis.

Rosie decided to name the child after her pal Tom

The widow then branded her as “the most positive person she knows” who managed to keep the “strength and light until the very end”.

She also admitted: “When Rosie asked me to be her birthing partner, there was no doubt in my mind. I’m so proud of Rosie, she was incredible and so strong.”

Rosie then shared an update on her own profile and posted a sweet snap of Tommy with the caption: “An angel boy sent by our angel. Tommy Ronnie Blake, 25th May 2022.”
