Kerry Katona plans to go 'all out' for daughter's 21st as she splurges on new car

Reality star Kerry Katona has revealed she’s planning on going “all out” for her daughter’s 21st birthday in August.

Speaking in her new column for OK!, the 41-year-old stated she’s going to be splurging on a brand new car for Molly as she works hard for her cash.

Molly, who is Kerry’s eldest daughter whom she shares with ex-husband Brian McFadden, went out last week to test drive cars in preparation for the big milestone.

Speaking about the day, Kerry said: “Me and Molly had a mum and daughter day out last week when we went to test drive cars. Her 21st is in August and I’ve told her I’ll treat her to a new motor.”

Kerry continued: “She’s my firstborn and 21 is a big milestone, so I thought why not go all out and get her something nice? I’ve worked hard for my money and like to spend it on my children.”

The grand gestures won’t stop with a new car either as the mum-of-five is also planning to take her fiancé Ryan away to Marbella for a holiday.

She stated as it will also be their anniversary at the same time, it will be a joint celebration.

Speaking about her ongoing house hunt abroad, Kerry said: “We’re still looking for houses in Spain, as we’re serious about moving there.”

The singer revealed that they have a “great” estate agent who is currently helping them look for a place.

Kerry continued: “I also want to buy a three-bedroom cottage over here, where my mum can live and which can be our base when we come back.”

Recently, the star was rushed to hospital due to irritable bowel syndrome which she’s described as “unbearable”.

Although she initially put the pain down to a cyst in her ovary, Kerry then realised she was suffering from IBS which is a chronic condition that affects the large intestine.

Symptoms of IBS include stomach pain, severe bloating, wind, diarrhoea and constipation.

Giving an update on her condition, she said: “I’ve ordered some tests to try to find out what food reacts badly in my stomach, so I’ll know what to avoid.

“I’m still waiting for them to come, so I have no update on that front yet. But it will be interesting to get some answers.”

The star revealed that at one point during an important work meeting she had to lay down on the floor to try and relieve the pain.
