Love Island's Andrew Le Page reveals details about 'cosmetic' surgery he 'always wanted

Love Island hunk Andrew Le Page has admitted to getting surgery on his chest just weeks prior to entering the Villa.

The 27-year-old estate agent who hails from Guernsey has been preparing for his stint on the hit ITV dating show over recent weeks and took the plunge and opted for the surgical procedure allowing himself just enough time to recover.

Opening up about why he opted to go under the knife Andrew admitted that it wasn’t something necessary – but was a cosmetic enhancement.

Talking to Daily Star he said: “It was surgery on my chest. Basically, it was a day procedure, they were just taking out glands that were in my chest.”

“It was something that I’ve always wanted to do. So it was something that I wanted to do and I thought if I’m coming on here anyway, it’s something that I may as well do just before I come on.

He continued: “I didn’t have to do it but it was just something I would want to do. It was cosmetic so it wasn’t something I needed to do it was something that I wanted to do.”

Andrew – who works as a high-end property expert in Dubai – also confessed to putting himself through a gruelling fitness regime recently after needing time out from working on his body following the surgery.

He said: “When I had my surgery, which was only like two months ago, I couldn’t train for six weeks so I couldn’t go in the gym or anything so that was quite frustrating.

“But now what I’m doing is I’m training in the morning doing a hit session, then in the evening, I do a resistance weight training.”
