Emmerdale fans are worried Leyla Cavanagh could end up in serious danger after she purchased class A drugs from a dealer who is well known from a rival soap.
Leyla has clearly become addicted to cocaine, so much so that she decided to purchase her own batch in the latest instalment of the ITV soap.
Although she was unsure of how much to buy, the business owner was quick to part with her cash in order to get her next fix.
But later on in the episode, while in the car with her husband Liam, Leyla had a small accident which saw her head straight into the back of an off duty police officer’s car.
With Leyla’s life beginning to turn upside down, some fans predicted the worse for her.
Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: “It looks to me that Leyla may get some contaminated coke from a dodgy dealer at some point & that could do her some serious harm.”
Another said: “This guy could be giving Leyla anything. She hasn’t got a clue what she’s doing.”
A third chimed: “Leyla really is playing a very dangerous game. It’s only a matter of time before she gets caught out.”
Meanwhile other spectators couldn’t help but comment on actor Parry Glasspool who is currently starring as drug dealer Jason in Emmerdale.
Parry previously played Harry Thompson in Channel 4’s soap Hollyoaks.
Jumping back onto Twitter, fans made comments on this too.
One viewer said: “It’s interesting to see Parry Glasspool in the start of tonight’s #Emmerdale – he’s hardly changed since he played Harry in #hollyoaks!”
Another penned: “Hello Parry welcome to #Emmerdale.”
While a third shocked viewer said: “Harry from Hollyoaks is now a dealer.”
Actor Parry played the role of Harry for five years before he was killed off in 2019.
Upon his exit at the time, the actor told Digital Spy that he longed to do other things.
He said: “I’m looking forward to doing other stuff now… I’d love to be one of those people who jumps between TV, stage and film, doing different jobs.”
