BBC bosses have been criticised by angry viewers of the Platinum Party at the Palace.
The star-studded concert outside the gates of Buckingham Palace was attended by Princes William and Kate Middleton’s eldest children Princess Charlotte and Prince George.
They joined the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at the music event but the youngsters appeared to lose interest as the night went on.
The camera panned to the children on numerous occasions during the gig and viewers watching at home have since taken to social media to slam the broadcaster.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “”Everyone saying Prince George and Princess Charlotte are ‘bored’. They were in Cardiff mere hours ago – they’ve had a busy day! At their age I’d have been zonked out my seat!”
Another added: “Stop panning to Prince George & Princess Charlotte just to catch them looking bored and fidgety – give them a break.”
A third person posted: “Feeling a bit sorry for George and Charlotte, they’re too young for sitting through such long events and in formal clothes again, too.
While fourth social media user said: “Anyone else feeling that George and Charlotte might just need an early bedtime after their trip to Wales?! “
Later on in the programme, cameras showed Charlotte enjoying herself with mum Kate as they waved flags to Sweet Caroline.
Discussing the adorable moment, One viewer said: “Katherine and Charlotte also enjoying Sweet Caroline! Clearly a family favourite.”
While asecond person added: “So lovely to see Prince George and Princess Charlotte waving their flags with their mam and dad.”
The Royals are not the only aspect of the show that riled up those watching on television.
Some took to Twitter to brand pop star Mimi Webb’s song choice as “inappropriate” as she took to the stage to perform his hit single House On Fire.
One user asked: “Is it wise to sing, ‘I wanna set your house on fire’ outside the gates of Buckingham Palace?”
Another quipped: “Who thought it was a good idea for someone to sing outside the Palace ‘gonna set your house on fire'”
