Katherine Ryan teases OnlyFans career as she says no to raunchy TV sex scenes

Katherine Ryan admitted there will be no love scenes between her and on screen husband Romesh Ranganathan in their upcoming series, Romantic Getaway.

The two comedians star as love interests in the six-part series which is set to be released on Sky later this year.

The comedy drama series focuses on a married couple who are desperately trying for a baby but quickly find themselves involved in the criminal underworld.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star and other publications at Sky’s Up Next event, Katherine, 38, explained she doesn’t think viewers would enjoy watching love scenes between the pair and admitted it was “probably mandate” not to include them.

“I don’t think people would want to see us banging to be honest,” she admitted, before saying: “I think it was probably mandate not to include that from someone high up.”

Romesh, 44, revealed he has never been asked to do a love scene on screen and joked he’s saving them for another platform.

He said: “We’ve both been doing comedy for a long time and never, even in the darkest of times has that been requested,” before adding “We’re keeping that for the OnlyFans.”

Referring back to the time when they first met, Katherine revealed she formed an “instant friendship” with Romesh and revealed the dad-of-three was “so complimentary” about her work.

The Duchess star gushed: “Romesh was so nice to me when we first met, this was like a decade go.”

“I remember Romesh was so complimentary saying I really like your stuff and it was an instant friendship, we instantly respected each other’s work. I always thought Romesh was one of the funniest comedians.”

The It’s Not Rocket Science star only had positive things to say about Katherine in return as he recalled not wanting to follow her on stage after she “smashed” an open mic gig.

“Katherine was on before me and she smashed the gig so much that I did my set about how good she was. It was unfollowable,” he explained.

The Weakest Link presenter gushed: “Luckily we were then able to work together. She’s somebody I think is an unbelievable comedian but we also really get on.”
