A teenage girl has gone viral after revealing that her mum had signed her up for Love Island without asking her.
Rylee Schindler, from the US, took to TikTok on Monday (June 6) telling viewers that she could be on Love Island USA because of her mum.
She wrote in the post: “When my mum randomly signs me up to be on Love Island, incorrectly method acting as me throughout the questionnaire without asking…Fingers crossed!”
Screenshots of a text thread shows the conversation with her mum, which was marked as occurring on February 21.
Her mum sends the first message at 7.41am, writing: “Good morning you unicorn! What is your email?”
Three hours later with no reply from Rylee, her mum writes again.
“FYI If you get a call from a casting director to Love Island…I submitted your application,” she reveals.
“One of the questions was…what do you want to get out of your experience on Love Island? Your answer was…to be discovered so you can pursue your music career.
“If you happen to find your ‘person’, that would be wonderful too. Oh. I put you were bisexual and a virgin and not willing to just hook up.
“You’re welcome.”
Viewers were in hysterics and shared their thoughts to Rylee.
One wrote: “She woke up that day at 6am and really decided to jump start your career.”

“Oh I love your mum, we need a mum reveal. She’s so supportive and sweet,” a second commented and a third added: “Everything about this screenshot is magnificent like top to bottom.”
“The way she said ‘you’re welcome’,” a fourth penned.
Others praised Rylee’s mum for putting her sexuality as “bisexual” in the application form, but some suggested she could have left out the part mentioning Rylee is a virgin.
