MasterChef star Mery Liverio has demanded a police probe look into the leaking of her private images on WhatsApp.
The 26-year old model has found that images shared privately, showing her in racy situations, have been leaked on the instant messaging platform by people she has branded “idiots”.
Already known for her cooking, she has now been put in a horrifying position that so many have been put in before her – where private images have spread outside of where they are meant to be.
She said: “The person responsible will be getting an unpleasant call, and they deserve it.
“This is to make you understand that I am not joking when you cross the line. There is talk of image theft and it is a serious criminal offence.”
When was Mery Liverio on MasterChef?
Mery made it to the sixth round of Masterchef Italy.
She appeared on the show’s 11th series and despite being eliminated ahead of the seventh round, gained a following from people who enjoyed her punk style.
She has also spent time working as a personal trainer and lives in Italy’s capital, Rome, along with her dog, cat and boyfriend.
Building quite the fanbase, she has amassed a huge Instagram following of 22k at the time of writing.
Mery Liverio OnlyFans
Mery Liverio joined OnlyFans to help raise some extra cash to build a new kitchen and start up a YouTube channel for her cooking work.
However, it wasn’t until she was told by a fan that her images had been shared on private chats on OnlyFans – and then shared across Italy – that she realised they were being leaked across WhatsApp and Facebook.
She has since filed for “illegal dissemination of sexually explicit images or videos” – which is the same legal ruling used to protect people from revenge porn.
The model said: “This morning I learned from a follower on Instagram that another Telegram channel has been created with my photos.
“I remind you of the phrase that I always repeat, if you steal and post my private material I will find you and denounce you.
“The material shared and published on my profile is not to be shared or sold, especially including those in a private and personalised form.
“Any disclosure of materials and content outside this portal will be sued in court.”
OnlyFans has a dedicated team as part of their service who works to recover pirated content on behalf of creators is it copied or misused
