Strictly's Oti Mabuse makes huge career announcement after ITV show 'axed before finale'

Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing on Ice star Oti Mabuse has announced a huge change to her career.

Oti has launched her own bra range after struggling with her 28GG bust, which has seen her trying to find underwear that fit her.

The BBC star has teamed up with Bravissimo for the new project after admitting she was left in years over her larger chest.

She opened up to her fans on a Q&A on Instagram, saying: “There’s something for everyone. I know I used to struggle so much trying to find the perfect bra for myself.”

Oti also previously admitted that she had cried during her first dress fitting for Strictly because she struggled to fit into certain types of clothes that her co-stars could easily wear.

She told Lorraine: “I am a 28GG. All my family has always had big boobs. I was hitting puberty way before other girls were.

“I’m lucky that my mum has the same issue and she was able to teach me how to deal with it. As a young girl I was always wearing jersies over it.

“Strictly opened a lot of doors to me. I remember fitting my first bra and I was crying. I was like: ‘This looks so bad and I look so massive compared to the other girls.'”

However, Oti admitted that the BBC team helped her feel comfortable and confident, adding: “Nobody picked on me for it and no one discriminated against me for it and nobody said anything in a negative way.”

Oti’s news comes after reports that her new show Romeo and Duet has been axed by ITV before the end of the series in a huge blow.

A source told The Sun: “This will be gut-wrenching for Oti as it was her first solo presenting gig since quitting Strictly to pursue new opportunities.

“Expectations were high for the programme as she is immensely popular with the public and Romeo & Duet was given a prime-time slot.

“Rubbing salt in the wound is the fact that the series hasn’t even finished, the final episode airs this Saturday.”
