Love Island's biggest bombshells – Maura Higgins lolly suck to Chloe Burrows voice note

The latest series of Love Island has been on our screens for a little over a week and we’ve already seen six bombshells enter the villa.

From Gemma Owen’s ex-boyfriend Jacques O’Neill joining the islanders to straight talking Ekin-Su Culculoglu who isn’t afraid to go after the guy she wants.

Needless to say the bombshells this year are already shaking up the Spanish villa and fans can’t wait to see who else will be thrown into the mix.

It’s no secret that the late entries in the show shake up the islanders as they become more settled in their couple over the weeks.

We’ve seen some pretty memorable bombshells moments in the villa throughout the past seven series from Maura Higgins’ finger suck to Chloe Burrows’ voice note.

Daily Star has taken a look back at some of the most iconic bombshells to enter the Love Island villa across all previous series.

Maura Higgins, series five

When Maura entered the villa on day 10 in series five, she made her presence known.

She was reality TV gold the second she walked in as she wasn’t scared to rile up the original girls who watched her feed Michael Griffiths dessert from the balcony.

The Irish ring girl had her eyes set on boxer Tommy Fury who squirmed when she asked if his partner Molly-Mae turned him on as much as she did.

Her flirty antics didn’t stop there as no one can forget when she ate an ice lolly in a very suggestive way right next to the girls while giving Tommy the eye.

It’s safe to say Maura didn’t hold back with what she was thinking and she quickly became one of viewers’ all time favourite islanders.

Although she failed to win Tommy over who stuck with Molly, she coupled up with dancer Curtis Pritchard who she dates until March 2020.

Megan certainly caused a stir when she entered on day eight in the fourth series.

She initially was coupled up with Eyal Booker but quickly turned her attention to Wes Nelson.

But she didn’t win over the public as people accused the star of “stealing” him away from Laura Anderson, who he appeared to be in a solid couple with.

Megan and Wes kissed in a challenge and had a private chat behind Laura’s back where the Essex bombshell tried to convince him Laura was too old for him.

When he decided to recouple with her, viewers were outraged as she could be seen smirking.

However, the pair continued their relationship outside of the villa until January 2019 when they decided to split.

Whether you loved her or wasn’t her biggest fan, there’s no denying Megan was a memorable bombshell.

Molly-Mae Hague, series five

Before Maura entered the villa and tried to claim Tommy Fury for herself, Molly-Mae Hague got there first.

Where some bombshells enter the villa during a party, Molly was waiting in a hot tub on the hideaway terrace to have two dates.

Fans of the show were given the chance to pick the boy who would meet Molly for the romantic date and they chose Tommy, who was then coupled with Cornwall surfer Lucie Donlan.

Instantly Tommy said she was her type as he told the bombshell she had “lovely eyes, cracking body”.

She also got to have a date with Curtis who was the person to introduce her to the rest of the islanders.

In the end, it was Tommy who won her over and the pair continue to date to this day.

Chloe Burrows, series seven

Chloe was one of the bombshells that went into the villa the same day as the other islanders, just a bit later.

While they got coupled up in the morning, Chloe made her dramatic entrance in the evening.

Usually the islanders receive a text giving them news, however, the bombshell sent a voice note to Toby Aromolaran.

The voice not said: “Hey boys, how are you? Chloe here, I’ve just arrived and I’m outside the front of the villa. I’d like to take you all on a date. But I’ll let you guys decide who comes and joins me. Hopefully I’ll see you soon.”

Although all the boys decided to go and meet Chloe instead of choosing just one.

She was then tasked with picking one guy she wanted to couple up with in 48 hours and decided to pick Aaron Francis.

Their romance didn’t last long and in the end, after a rocky journey, Chloe and Toby decided to couple up and finished in second place.

They’ve since moved in together and have continued their relationship outside the villa.

Alex Bowen, series two

Subtly entering the villa, Alex arrived with James Khan in the morning while the other islanders slept.

The bombshells waited on the sun loungers for the other contestants to realise they’ve got two new people joining.

It was the late Sophie Gradon who first spotted them from the bedroom window as she screamed “there’s two boys outside”.

Alex caused trouble in the villa as he caught the attention of many girls in the villa, including former Miss GB Zara Holland.

After they had sex in the hideaway she had her title stripped.

In the end, Alex coupled up with Olivia Buckland.

The couple are now married and recently welcomed their first baby together.

Chris Hughes, series three

Love Island royalty Chris Hughes entered the villa as a bombshell on day four with Jonny Mitchell.

He was a bit blown away with the girls on the show as he set his sights on pretty much everyone.

Although he first was with Chloe Crowhurst, it wasn’t long before he switched his attention to Olivia Attwood.

However the pair had some pretty explosive rows, with one memorable moment showing Chris telling Olivia to “sit back down” when she was already sitting.

Despite the rocky journey, the pair made it to the final and continued to date for a while once the show ended but decided to call it quits in 2018.

He may not have found romance on the show but he did strike up a bromance with fellow contestant Kem Cetinay.

Jessica Shears, series three

As a bombshell islander, they usually enter when people least expect it, which was true for series three contestant Jessica Shears.

The Devon star arrived a few moments after the islanders had just been put into their couples and tensions were instantly raised.

She was given only 24 hours to get to know the boys and pick one to be in a couple with, which was bad news for fellow islander Montana Brown who was smitten with Dom Lever.

Jess’ time in the Love Island villa was cut short as she was brutally voted off by the other girls.

Although they didn’t have much time together on the show, she and Dom have continued their relationship on the outside world.

Moving in together in Devon, they married in 2018 and have one little boy together.

They’ve recently announced that they are growing their family as she’s expecting their second child.
