Lee Ryan's love life – Caprice 'fling', Big Brother love triangle to Atomic Kitten split

Earlier this year, Blue singer Lee Ryan tied the knot with his long-term girlfriend Verity Paris in a secret ceremony in Gibraltar.

But before his X Factor wife was on the scene, Lee, 39, was known as a serial dater and had links with other famous celebs including Atomic Kitten’s Liz McClarnon.

After Liz and Lee’s relationship came to an end, the All Rise star became known to the press as someone who went out with a number of women.

However, it wasn’t until he appeared on Big Brother in 2014 that the British public got to witness his complex relationships unfold when he became embroiled in a love triangle on the show.

With his player days behind him, Daily Star has taken a look at Lee Ryan’s dating history.

Liz McClarnon

Back in 2001, Lee dated Atomic Kitten singer Liz McClarnon.

The couple’s romance became the centre of media’s attention as they both were key members of the UK’s biggest bands at the time.

In 2003, Lee proposed to Liz in a hotel in Oxford, but unfortunately, Liz decided to call off their whirlwind romance shortly after the engagement.

Speaking about her relationship years later, Liz admitted that she would never date someone famous again.

She told Closer: “I’d never date another celebrity again. I was engaged to Lee and I didn’t like having our relationship in the spotlight.

“For me, it leads to paranoia. You read things about each other and wonder who said what. Dating a celebrity makes your relationship too public and I like to keep my private life private.”

Emily Oldfield

Things became rather awkward when 21 year old Lee promised to be a loving dad and to his alleged unborn child he conceived with glamour model Emily Oldfield.

After sleeping with the blonde beauty, Emily reportedly became pregnant but later had an abortion, that Lee was unaware of.

The distraught singer told the News of the World at the time: “I’ve been to hell and back over this girl. I just warn other stars to steer well clear of her.”

“She’s a nutter. When she first told me she was pregnant she didn’t take my calls for ages then rang out of the blue and said she was aborting. I couldn’t believe it.

“Then the next day she rings me and says she lied and she didn’t have an abortion. She has done this to an ex-boyfriend who told me she told him she was pregnant then said she’d had an abortion.”

Caprice Bourret

In 2004, the rumour mill went into overdrive after reports claimed that Lee and model Caprice Bourret were secretly dating.

The Sun reported that the pair met at a London club and the model reportedly told friends she and the Blue singer are in love.

A close friend allegedly told the paper: “She’s really happy at the moment.

“She’s been gossiping with friends about how she’s going out with Lee but that it’s meant to be secret. She said she thinks they are in love and she’s very excited about the relationship, although it is in the very early stages.”

Jessica Keevil

In 2007, Lee enjoyed a short-lived romance with Jessica Keevil after meeting her in a nightclub.

Not long after, Jessica revealed she was pregnant with the popstar’s child, and they welcomed a baby girl, Bluebell, later on that year.

Although their relationship didn’t last, the couple have continued to amicably co-parent their daughter, who is now 13-years-old.

Jessica has always shunned the celebrity circuit and has stayed entirely out of the spotlight. Despite this, Lee has previously shared a handful of sweet snaps with Bluebell on social media.

Samantha Millar

A year after his daughter Bluebell was born, Lee then went on to date Samantha Millar in 2008, who he previously met on MySpace.

The pair fell head-over-heels for each other after chatting online for weeks, and it wasn’t long until they announced that Samantha, also known as Sammi, was pregnant with Lee’s second child.

Lee then asked for Sami’s hand in marriage and the happy couple welcomed their son, Rain Amethyst Ryan, in December 2008.

Despite things looking like they were going well, Lee and Sami’s relationship became turbulent and they eventually split up in 2011.

Jasmine Waltz and Casey Batchelor

In 2014, Lee ended up in a love triangle when he entered the famous Big Brother house.

Lee and Jasmine Waltz seemed to hit it off in the house relatively quickly but things changed as soon as her back was turned.

When Jasmine was evicted, Lee set his sights on Casey Batchelor but things became very awkward when Jasmine returned to the house and confronted them both.

Although Lee was kissing Casey on screen, he denied anything serious was going on.

Trying to explain himself he said: “We’re friends, we’re friends, we’re friends, maybe there was harmless flirting and stuff.”

Later on in the show, Casey’s mother also stepped in to warn her daughter about the Blue singer.

After the show came to an end Lee told the press that he “learnt his lesson” when it comes to television romances and he won’t be get involved in any more.
