Jacques O’Neill’s mother has begged cruel trolls to stop sending her offensive messages regarding her son who is currently in the Love Island villa.
Jacques’ mum Janet Wright recently took to her Instagram page to issue a plea to deter keyboard warriors who have accused her son of being a “bully”.
In the post, Janet shared a throwback photo of herself and Jacques in his younger days.

She then captioned the pic: “People sending nasty messages to me please can you stop.
“It does hurt. Thank you.”
Seeing Janet’s heartfelt message on their screen, her followers quickly rushed to the comment section to share their support.
One person wrote: “Pay no attention. You’re amazing!”
Another social media user said: “Ignore the trolls! They troll because they don’t have lives and have got nothing better to do.”
Earlier in the week, former Love Island bombshell Remi Lambert labelled Jacques a “bully” after remarks he made towards him in the villa.
Remi also claimed that Jacques “ruined” his overall experience on the show and he often had to stick up for himself during unaired altercations.
Speaking openly on YouTube series Reality with Will Njobvu, Remi said: “There was a lot of stuff that wasn’t aired – a lot of stuff going on.
“So basically – me and Jacques got into quite a lot of arguments and it just made my experience s***t. It ruined it for me.”
“People were saying, ‘It’s because he’s got a rugby persona’ – but you can’t treat people like that.”
The 22 year old also revealed that Jacques would often mimic his accent and make fun of his fellow islanders which would cause conflict between them.
The star added: “He was just trying to get onto me. It was like, ‘Hi I’m Remi, I’m hard and I’m from Manny’, it was just so jarring.
“I was the only one to stick up for myself. We just got into a lot of fights and stuff,” he explained.
After Remi’s interview made it to social media platforms, fans complained that Jacques was being edited to look good by programme producers.
Taking to Twitter, one Love Island viewer wrote: “#loveisland producers are good at manipulating what we see, Remi stated he felt like Jacques was bullying him and they had arguments but non of this was shown, they are giving him a good edit yet, I can still see Jacques constantly stirring the pot. He is deffo playing a game.”
