TOWIE's Arg floors Lorraine fans with 14st weight loss and 'mystery woman' confession

Lorraine fans were totally stunned as TOWIE star James ‘Arg’ Argent took to the programme showing off an epic transformation.

The 62-year-old Scottish host wasted no time at all with jumping straight to Arg’s incredible new look as she commented on his 14 stone weight loss.

Arg told Lorraine that although he was happy with his new image, he still had some work to do as he did have a bit of excess skin following his Gastric Sleeve surgery but overall felt very “lucky” with his body.

Later on in the programme, Arg made a shock confession when asked about his relationship status.

Lorraine quizzed: “It’s so good to see you so happy. So what’s going to happen in the love-life situation with you?”

Astounded at the tv presenters boldness, Arg howled out loud at her question, before adding: ” I mean, I think I’ve finally come to a point where I truly am confident.”

“And I know it sounds cliche but they say ‘you can’t love anyone until you love yourself.'”

“No, it’s true,” chimed in Lorraine who agreed with his statement.

Arg added: “I do genuinely love myself now and I feel like i’m strong physically, mentally and so I feel like I am ready to, kind of meet someone and I feel like now that I am ready to take care of myself, I can take care of someone else.”

Opening up further on the situation, the reality TV star turned wedding singer did reveal that he had been dating someone that he’d met during a stint in Mykonos, Greece.

He said: “I did meet someone nice actually. I did meet a woman in Mykonos.”

Arg told Lorraine: “It wasn’t a holiday romance or anything like that but we did exchange numbers and we have been speaking. She’s not English, she lives abroad.”

Stumbling for any more words to add, Lorraine interjected: “Listen who knows, it could just be a wee lovely thing or a lovely friend but who knows.”

Lorraine airs weekdays on ITV from 9am.
