Laura Whitmore has told a popular Stranger Things star to enter the Love Island villa in a bombshell twist – and fans are losing it.

Stranger Things season four, volume two dropped onto Netflix on July 1, and it seems as though Love Island’s Laura Whitmore has been binge-watching the popular series.

Jamie Campbell Bower who plays the role of Henry Creel aka 001 aka Vecna is this season’s villain, and to promote the two final episodes of season four, he posted a slew of snaps on Instagram.

Sharing three stills from the popular TV show, that caused Netflix to crash on Friday, the star could be seen dressed as Vecna.

Commenting below the snap, Love Island host Laura, who is clearly a big fan of the Netflix series, penned: “And the new bombshell entering the villa is… Vecna! Needs some factor 50 though.”

Fans of Love Island and Stranger Things were completely taken aback, and the comment ended up racking up more than 400 likes.

One fan replied to Laura’s comment with: “@thewhitmore the question is, did he turn any heads?”

This comes as Laura has only appeared for less than 14 minutes on the reality TV show despite being believed to earn £600,000 to present it.

The 37-year-old Irish beauty has featured on the main programme for just 13 minutes and 26 seconds, despite Casa Amor kicking off on Friday, July 1.

Around 27 hours of footage from the Spanish villa has been aired on ITV2, with the series now at its half-way point.

Laura has been paid around £744 per second of being air.
