Jack Keating’s mum has hit back at nasty comments about her son made online by Love Island viewers.
The Dublin native made a bold entrance onto the programme and he wasted no time in getting acquainted with the girls after he entered Casa Amor last week.
However his mother Yvonne Connoll is keen to support him as she thanked kind fans on social media for their support of her now famous son on Instagram, although she hit out at trolls on social media.

In recent scenes aired during Sunday’s episode, viewers saw Jack chat to Gemma Owen by the pool and share a bed with Tasha.
This is despite the fact that Tasha is already coupled up with 27 real estate agent Andrew Le Page and Gemma is in a couple with 23 year-old fishmonger Luca Bish.
But the pair hit it off as they relaxed in the sun, comparing notes on having famous parents.
Gemma is the daughter of England footballer Michael Owen whilst Jack’s dad is Boyzone star turned Magic Radio breakfast presenter Ronan Keating.
And Jack’s mother Yvonne thanked fans for their outpouring of positive messages she has received on Instagram, however she took an obvious dig at some of the negative comments received at the hand of trolls on other social media platforms.
Ahead of Sunday’s episode, she posted to her followers saying: “After the teaser I’m looking forward to watching Jack tonight on Love Island.”
Adding: “Thank you so much for all your comments. All positive (can’t say the same for other platforms!).”
Thanking her 37,000 followers she also wrote: “So many people wishing Jack well and rooting for him. It means so much. My heart.”
This comes as Andrew was seen kissing new bombshell Coco, despite his coupling up with Tasha and predictions from former Islander’s that Italian Stallion Davide could have his head turned despite his coupling up with Turkish actress Ekin-Su.
Love Island airs nightly on ITV2 and ITV at 9pm
