Amber Gill may have won Love Island but she has a lot to say since leaving the show.
The 24 year-old star was interviewed on the official ‘The Morning After’ podcast with Arielle Free and Kem Cetinay where she thought the show got off to a shaky start.
In the premiere episode of the 2022 series, the public decided who would be paired together, rather than the previous format where the girls choose.

And whilst it has worked out for some, Amber did not think this was a good idea. When asked about Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page potentially splitting, she exclaimed: “That’s just chaos isn’t it?”
Adding: “That beginning part made it sort of awkward for everyone to be honest, of who they’re like fancying and stuff. It was just kind of weird. They’ve just been put together and just like stuck together because there’s been no one else.”
But she didn’t stop there, Amber reveals Tasha’s antics in the second villa are enough for her to switch off.
The brunette beauty explained: “I’m excited to see them be apart. That sounds a bit harsh but I’m just excited for them not to be a thing anymore. I think with Andrew and Tasha it was too serious.”
She added: “I can’t deal with serious. I can’t, I don’t like watching it.”
The trio then moved onto the topic of Michael Owen’s daughter Gemma and Fishmonger Luca Bish.
Although the trio were happy to see one couple seemingly survive the test, Amber did not mince her words, especially when host Kem pointed out, that the boys are “moving recklessly”.
Amber raged: “This is the worst Casa Amor I’ve seen in my whole life!”
Whilst Kem added: “Nobody knows who they are going for in the villa” as he compared the behaviour of the boys to a “holiday in Magaluf!”.
However, the revelations did not stop there as Amber admits in hindsight that she wished she stole all the prize money.
The social media star won the series alongside Irish Rugby Union player Greg O’Shea where in the live finale, they both chose to split the prize money in half.
However on reflection, Amber wishes she was more selfish, taking the winnings all for herself because she was in the villa for longer.
Radio DJ Arielle Free pointed out: “You should have never split the money, you should have just taken the £50 grand!”
Whilst Amber replied: “I like a bit of Chaos, obviously my tweets are very much how I am. So it would of crossed my mind. I would have thought ‘what happens If I just take the thing?’”
The former winner added: “because I’ve done a proper hard shift here, been here for two months. You’ve (To Greg) been in here for two weeks. You don’t deserve the money.”
