Nick Grimshaw has had an exciting year so far in 2022. Near the start of the year, he announced that he was engaged to his long-time partner, sharing the exciting news on his Instagram account.
The good news kept on coming when he revealed he’s joined Channel 4 for their hit reality TV show Celebrity Gogglebox.
Joined on the sofa by his niece, Liv, it has given his followers a chance to see an easy-going side to the star as he lounges back in the comfort of his own home, taking in some of the best and worst of UK TV.

Nick has been dating Meshach ‘Mesh’ Henry, 25, a dancer and DJ, with the pair living together in North London.
The two announced their engagement on Instagram, with Nick writing: “And in gay news this evening… got proposed to, said yes obvs.”
He posted a set of polaroid snaps of the two sharing the intimate moment, holding the ring up for fans to see.
The gold ring features a diamond encrusted detailing, though the two haven’t revealed a date for the wedding.

The pair met back in 2015 when Mesh made the final of the BBC Young Dancer competition.
It wasn’t until 2018 when the two started dating and just one year later, Nick invited Mesh to move in with him.
A source close to the couple told The Sun at the time: “Nick is the happiest he has ever been and Mesh is a massive part of that.
“They were spending all of their time together, with Mesh always staying over, so it made complete sense for them to move in together.
“Nick asked him to come and live with him and it’s all gone really well.
“Their jobs aren’t regular nine to fives so they can spend a lot of time together in the week.”

Nick isn’t joined by his partner on Celebrity Gogglebox, instead his niece, Liv Grimshaw, is on the sofa with him.
She is a rising star herself, with an impressive following on Instagram of over 34,000 followers.
However, the Channel 4 reality TV show is only Liv dipping her toes into showbiz, as she works a normal day job.
She is an assistant in merchandise for online fashion retailer PrettyLittleThing.
