Christine McGuinness has finally addressed her marriage to Paddy McGuinness, admitting they are having a “very difficult time”.
Her announcement comes just days after the former model took to social media to explain to fans that she didn’t put their relationship into ‘this situation’.
In recent months, the pair have been surrounded by rumours that they have split, with them each enjoying holidays with friends rather than as a couple.

Now, the mum-of-three has addressed the speculation head-on for the first time as she says there are issues behind closed doors.
Speaking to The Sun, Christine said: “What I might have put up with in the past, I probably wouldn’t put up with now, and the same for him.
“I can’t deny we are having a very, very difficult time.”
The former Real Housewives of Cheshire star went on to say that after 15 years of being with one another, 11 of those as man and wife, they would always have issues.
She continued: “This situation at the minute, I don’t want to go into it too much but I will just say that I didn’t cause this situation.”
Last week, the once-happy couple were pictured in their Mercedes G Wagon close to their home in Cheshire looking downcast, with sources saying Christine was “wiping away tears”.
On Wednesday [June 6], she told her social media fans: “Regarding the press…
“There is only one thing I want to make clear right now… I didn’t put us in this situation,” alongside a post that read: “This year I met the most broken version of me, but also the strongest.”
But while she may be facing the ultimate heartbreak, Christine revealed to the Daily Star at the Caudwell Children’s Butterfly Ball that she’s making a television come back.
She explained: “So at the minute I’m moving on to doing another documentary with the BBC where we are focusing on autistic women and girls which I’m really really excited about.
“But I wouldn’t say no to doing more reality, I had so much fun, honestly, I absolutely loved it so never say never.”
After finding out that she has autism, Christine explained that her management have helped her massively in recent months.
She said: “Of course it has! I think the biggest hell for me has been with work.
“My management now knows that I do need a little bit more information with things, I don’t like last-minute changes, things like that. It’s really, really helped.”
