Love Island fans rage as dramatic cliffhanger leaves two couples facing axe

Love Island fans have raged as Sunday night’s episode (July 10) was left on a shock cliffhanger with two couples fates up in the air.

The end of the latest episode confirmed Dami Hope and Summer Botwe and Jay Younger and Chyna Mills would be left vulnerable of being eliminated from the villa.

One couple will be dumped from the show during Monday night’s episode.

Love Island fans soon raged about the decision on Twitter.

Another replied: “NO! WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE A CLIFFHANGER.”

A third commented: “Noooooo Love Island producers deserve to accidentally put sour milk in their tea for that cliffhanger and leaving us waiting till tomorrow night to see who goes.”

A fourth fan moaned: “I was ready to riot after another ‘cliffhanger’ result.”

“Can we just have one episode without a cliffhanger?” Another asked.

A final fan concluded: “Why is the new Love Island trend to make the whole First Look about the cliffhanger that happens in the last 5 minutes of an hour long episode??”

The tense firepit elimination will be aired at the beginning of Monday night’s show.

The couple’s exit will be followed by the arrival of former Islander Adam Collard as a brand new 2022 bombshell.

Dami’s potential eviction followed him and Indiyah Polack patching things up earlier in the show.

Much to the frustration of fans, Dami told Indiyah that he still had feelings for her and the pair agreed to try and give their relationship another go – leaving their Casa Amor partners Summer Botwe and Deji Adeniyi at a loss.

Can they rekindle their romance?

Love Island continues at 9pm tonight (July 10) on ITV2.
