Love Island lads 'only care about Instagram followers', claims Casa Amor bombshell

Kaila Troy who appeared on Love Island 2021 was disappointed that the boys were more interested in their social media platforms than getting to know the girls.

The OnlyFans model, 28, who starred alongside the likes of Jake Cornish, Toby Aromolaran, Teddy Soares and Liam Reardon on the popular programme recalled the first thing the guys wanted to know.

Knowing the Casa Amor girls had inside intel, Kaila claims she faced quizzing about how many followers they each had on their platform.

According to the Irish bombshell, it was competitive, with the boys wanting to know who was leading in terms of numbers.

Speaking to Daily Star exclusively, Kaila hinted that the boys from season seven had seemingly been more interested in finding fame than anything else.

Th lass from Dublin told us: “A lot of people go in there for the wrong reasons and they just want to get results on social media.

“Even when we went into to Casa Amor the first thing all the guys asked us was ‘what’s my social media number?'”

Kaila was unsure if the lad were joking at first, with the stunning OnlyFans model hit back with “are you serious?”

She added: “They were so concerned about how many followers they had right now and who had the most.

“We would be aware of what’s going on before we get in there but yeah that was their only concern.”

The online star didn’t last long on the ITV programme after she’d failed to find a connection with anyone.

However, in the past, Kaila has spoken out about conversations that were had with Teddy but emphasised that they were never aired.

Although Kaila knew her conversations were not quite enough to turn Teddy’s head, she did feel for the likes of this year’s star Cheyanne Kerr, who had clearly been led to believe differently by Jacques O’Neil.

Kaila said: “I think it’s so hard because if you think you’ve got a really good connection with someone, I think it’s harder for people like that on the sidelines.

“I think she genuinely felt like he [Jacques] was going to pick her. A bit like last year with Lillie Haynes and Liam – we all thought he was going to pick her.”

Explaining the difference in situations, she went on to add: “See I already thought in my head it’s not going to happen but when you genuinely think you might couple up with this person, it’s hard when you’re there.”

Meanwhile, lockdown proved to be a tough time for many celebrities including Kaila who admitted it was hard to find work during this time.

Fortunately for the stunning blonde, she was invited to join OnlyFans and has been cashing in ever since – with masses of subscribers tuning in for her racy content.

The beauty has “no regrets” about opting to sign up to the platform and now boasts a whopping 566,000 fans on the popular site.

Following her passion for music Kaila still DJs frequently – with her latest gig taking place at Black Orchid Mondrian Hotel in Doha Qatar, this Thursday, July 14th.
