Love Island fans confused as Andrew Le Page gets ‘replaced’ by mystery man

Love Island fans have been left confused after Andrew Le Page seemingly “got replaced” by a mystery man.

On July 13 during Wednesday night’s instalment of Love Island, one viewer took to a Facebook group to speculate over who an “unknown” man was in the background of a shot.

Snapping a quick photo of her TV, the fan posted the snap alongside a caption which asked: “Who’s the guy in background in tonight’s show?”

The guy in the background donned just a pair of khaki shorts, with his hair down and relaxed, and his bare chest on display.

The snap saw new bombshell Adam Collard sitting on the sun loungers having a chat with Turkish actress Ekin-Su, with the pair looking in the direction of the unfamiliar man.

Fans were quick to comment on the Facebook post, with some thinking it might be Andrew and many others in agreement that they had no idea who the man was.

“Def not Andrew hair too long looks like maintenance or some guy that works on show behind scenes. They looking at him same… who’s he ha ha,” added one.

“Not Andrew! Whoever he is, he needs to join the cast,” swooned another.

A third then added: “Maybe one of the staff looking for their 5 minutes of fame lol.”

“Andrew has a big butterfly tattoo on his thigh can’t be him,” speculated a fourth.

While another said: “I have zoomed in and I cannot say I recognise him at all.”

But one fan cleared up any speculation by penned: “That’s definitely Andrew – he hasn’t styled his hair, that’s all.

“He has three tattoos – a palm tree on his ribs on the left under his arm (can’t be seen from this angle), a butterfly on his upper right thigh (hidden by shorts) and a wolf tattoo on his left arm (visible here).

“He just hasn’t styled his hair in its usual pushed back style.”

And another echoed: “Luckily I’ve had it on pause just rewinded it, it was Andrew had same shorts on in the bedroom.”

It appears that the guy in the background was in fact Andrew with a different hairstyle.

*Love Island airs weeknights and Sundays at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVHub.
