Lauren Goodger said she was feeling “very emotional” as she prepared for her daughter’s first birthday, just days after losing her newborn baby girl.
The TOWIE star announced earlier this month that her newborn daughter – who she named Lorena – had passed away, saying that she felt “broken”.
Her first child, Larose, turned one this week.

As she got ready for the big day, Lauren shared a snap on Instagram of her holding baby Lorena’s hand and told fans: “Just wrapped @BABYLAROSE presents and my Lorena was with me in my heart the whole time with her candle lit.
“Very emotional evening for Mummy, but can’t wait to see my big girl in the morning.”

The reality star also shared clips of her living room filled with pink balloons spelling out Larose’s name.
Another showed the baby holding herself up on the furniture as she peered around the room.
Lauren and her partner Charles had announced in January that they were expecting another baby girl.

The star kept her fans on Instagram updated through her pregnancy, and on Sunday 10 July told her followers that her daughter had sadly passed away.
“Lorena R.I.P 08.07.22 she was the most beautiful healthy baby I’ve ever seen just like her sister @babylarose.x … words can’t describe as a mother losing your baby that I carried for all these months perfectly and gave birth to for my angel to be taken from me,” she said.
Lauren, 35, said there were no pregnancy or labour complications and that the baby was fine and healthy.

She went on: “I will never ever get over this but I will learn how to live everyday with Lorena in my heart she will be with me always and I will be with her again one day…
“My Lorena I love you so much.”
