Love Island alumni Hannah Elizabeth has spoken exclusively to Daily Star during a Facebook Live interview about her time on the show and gave her thoughts about the producers’ input.
Hannah famously “got engaged” whilst she was in the villa when she was on the show back in 2015 and was with Jon Clark at the time, who risked it all to propose to his girlfriend of five weeks.
However, the gamble paid off after she agreed to marry him, whilst wearing a white strapless wedding dress with a huge train.

Jon took a knee and proposed to Hannah in matching attire, dressed to the nines in a black suit with a white shirt.
The moment took Hannah by surprise as she held a hand to her face and said “of course” she would marry him, after knowing Jon for little over a month.

She declared that he was “the best man she’d ever met in her life” and that she “f****** loved him to pieces”.
The shocking moment left viewers reeling and her father was particularly unimpressed, saying that it was “something no father wants to see”.
When asked about the wild Love Island moment, Hannah confirmed that “people still ask her about it” and admitted that she “still can’t believe” what happened.
“I got engaged on the show, that is nuts, that is major, but do you know what? You feel like you’ve been in there for so long, you feel like these people, that’s it. You’re best, best, best mates with everyone. You do feel like you’re in love and all that, so I really did feel that way.”
“When he did ask me to marry him, I was like: ‘Oh my God, yeah!’ As soon as I came out of the villa, I was like: ‘Er, no’.”
Despite her backtrack, Hannah says that she has no regrets: “I’ll never have any regrets, but I definitely laugh it off because its nuts, isn’t it?!”
In an interview, Jon had previously revealed that he had suggested the idea and producers encouraged him to take the plunge.
When asked whether she thought the producers “force situations sometimes,” Hannah replied with: “Oh yeah, of course! They’ll egg things along, yeah, or if someone is having an argument or is feeling a certain way, they’ll say: ‘Well, why don’t you go and tell the person?’ Definitely.”
