Michelle Keegan teases major new TV project as fans beg for more Our Girl episodes

Michelle Keegan has given fans a glimpse into her upcoming project after she took to her Instagram story and posted a telling picture.

The former Coronation Street actress took a picture of the script she’s working on and added a moody black and white filter.

The front page of the script read: “Ten Pound Poms, Episode Six, Written by Danny Brocklehurst, Readthrough Draft, 06.07.2022.”

She added a caption that said: “Block two, let’s go,” along with a clapper board emoji.

Above the papers was a place card that read “Kate Thorne” and underneath was Michelle’s name.

Kate is the name of her character in the upcoming series Ten Pound Poms and Michelle had previously jetted off to Australia for filming.

She is set to star in the six part series alongside Game of Thrones actress Faye Marsay and Luther star Warren Brown.

The series is a drama and will follow a group of people who have been promised a better life Down Under.

For just ten pound, the troupe will leave post-war Britain behind and arrive in Australia together.

She shared the snap with her 6 million followers

Michelle’s character Kate is a nurse who is set on “rewriting her devastating past” after she took off without her fiance.

The series will be aired on BBC and its creator Danny Brocklehurst has opened up about his thoughts on the series.

He said: “Ten Pound Poms demands an ensemble cast that we are all rooting for, actors we love and want to succeed. I am thrilled to have found those actors. It is a delight to welcome so much exciting Australian talent, as well as working with the brilliant Faye and Warren for the first time.”

Michelle is once again teaming up with Danny Brocklehurst

The BAFTA award winner continued: “This is my third outing with the wonderful Michelle Keegan and I’m positive we will make another winner together.”

Ahead of her trip to Australia, fans were eager to know what the actress was up to and had their hopes set on more Our Girl, but were left disappointed.

She shared a picture of herself in a green tracksuit at the airport and more snaps of herself relaxing after she had landed on the other side of the world.
