BBC Breakfast was once again in a major presenting shake-up this weekend.
Saturday (July 30) saw veteran presenter Charlie Stayt replaced in a sudden move by Roger Johnson, who sat alongside regular host Naga Munchetty on the famous red sofa.
Charlie and Naga usually present the show together from Thursday to Saturday each week, with temporary presenters tending to fill up the couch on a Sunday.

Roger and Naga were joined by weather presenter Matt Taylor for an overview of the day’s forecast – but fans had something rather more pressing on their minds.
Clearly divided by the move to switch Charlie for Roger, one fan took to Twitter to pen: “Spock pulled me through as we went warp factor 2. Where’s Charlie Stayt?”

However, others were simply pleased to see Roger and Naga on their screens, as someone else praised: “Waking up to two of your favourite tv hosts @TVNaga01 & @RogerJ_01 presenting @BBCBreakfast – you know it’ll be a good Saturday!”
A third user praised Roger as a “class act” and “serious journalist”.
This comes days after host Naga fiercely shut down MP Ben Wallace during a heated debate.
The discussion was led over the topic of the Conservative Leader race on the show.

On Friday’s (July 29) show, Naga starred alongside her co-host Charlie Stayt to talk about one of the biggest stories this week.
As the continued race for the Conservative Leader position between Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak goes on.
She asked: “Is the support for Ukraine going to be diminished, in your opinion?”
The MP tried to avoid the question, and said: “I think you have to ask Rishi Sunak that.”

Naga then pushed for a straight answer and said: “No, I’m asking you opinion as Defence Secretary and someone who’s put their support behind someone who’s opposing Rishi Sunak.”
The politician fidgeted in his chair and snapped: “You keep wanting me to spend lots of time focusing on Rishi. As I’ve said, Rishi is a talented individual who would be good in anybody’s cabinet.
“One of the reasons I support Liz is the investment in the defence budget and defence capabilities that help Britain deliver stability and security around the world.”
