The Bournemouth beauty – who appeared on the seventh series of the reality show – admitted that the terrace chats the girls enjoy each morning was not planned by ITV bosses.
She explained: “I wouldn’t say it’s a routine, it more habit I suppose.
“Every morning you know the girls go for a chat and the boys go for a chat and I think it’s this thing that has always happened.
“No one actually tells us to do it, but I think that’s just how it’s always been. Sometimes people switch it up and they don’t do it but it always feels weird.”

The starlet explained how none of the girls could break the unspoken rule without sending the rest of the Islanders into panic.
She went on: “Like if you’re up in the terrace, that’s where we [the girls] used to go up on the terrace, and if someone’s not there, we’d be like, ‘Where’s so-and-so? She’s changing rules, it feels weird’.”
Abi went on to add that when Islanders broke the rules, they refused to talk about their day until the entire group was present.

“So, I don’t know, I think it’s just something you do I suppose, that was the reason when I go there, and we all just follow each other around really.”
It comes as the final five couples prepare to welcome their family members into the villa to meet their significant others for the first time.
The family reunion is set to take place on Sunday (July 31) which is sure to put their relationships to the test with the added influence of friends and family who have been following the show from the comforts of their homes.
