Love Island stars moved to secret third villa for finale which is filmed over 2 days

Former Love Island star Chloe Burrows has spilled the tea on the behind the scenes secrets ahead of the show’s grand finale episode.

Chloe spoke to OK! about her time on the show and how the producers prepared the couples for the big night.

Chloe was in the show’s final with her boyfriend Toby Aromolaran and their co-stars Faye Winter, Teddy Soares, Kaz Kamwi, Tyler Cruickshank and the series winners Millie Court and Liam Reardon, who have recently split.

Burrows lifted the lid and exposed what happens in the 48 hours leading up to the final, which sees host Laura Whitmore greet each couple as the winners are announced.

Chloe said: “It happens over two days. You wake up on your last morning in the villa and you have to go and pack all your bags, that takes absolutely ages because some of us have been there for eight weeks. I remember Toby left with seven suitcases!”

She continued: “You are then moved to a holding villa in your couples and you have a chaperone. We ate McDonald’s and sat watching Netflix, but obviously you’re supervised so you can’t go on the internet.”

The star went on to explain that all the islanders “were exhausted” so they “went to sleep”.

The next day producers “sent in the biggest glam squad you’ve ever seen” and after the islanders were made up, they were “shipped back to the main villa to wait around for the final”.

Chloe also gave her verdict on this year’s series and said that it has been “the most chaotic series of Love Island ever,” whilst praising producers for “smashing it” as the show has been “such good television” and the contestants are “such good people to watch”.

However, aside from all the drama she called out the show for being “a bit light on the love” this season, but this didn’t phase her as “that’s not really why she watches Love Island”.

Chloe also revealed that her favourite couple are Ekin-Su and Davide, who she branded “the best characters this season” and hopes that the iconic duo win.
