Rebekah Vardy fumed 'what the f*** is this?' at Coleen Rooney after Wagatha post

Devastated Rebekah Vardy has spoken openly about the moment she confronted Coleen Rooney over her shocking Wagatha Christie post, shouting “Coleen, what the f*** is this?”

The 40 year old recently lost her High Court libel battle that she brought against Coleen over a viral social media post.

In October 2019, Coleen, 36, claimed she had carried out a “sting operation” and accused Rebekah of leaking “false stories” about her private life to the press.

Talking to The Sun about the fallout, Rebekah revealed she was on holiday in Dubai when she realised her pal was accusing her of leaking stories.

Sharing details of the call she had with Coleen when the accusations came to her attention, Rebekah disclosed that the pair had a heated conversation.

She said: “I had a missed call from a withheld number, but then she (Coleen) messaged me and said: ‘I’ve been trying to call you’.

“I picked up the phone and called her and basically said, ‘What the f*** is this?’

“Her response was quite rude, quite harsh, and she basically just said, ‘You know what this is’.”

Rebekah went on to add that she was unaware of what was going but was also in disbelief.

During her undercover operation, Coleen posted 50 stories on her private Instagram account between August and October 2019.

She then wrote: “I have saved and screenshotted all the original stories which clearly show just one person has viewed them.”

Now that the case has finally come to an end following Coleen’s win, Rebekah is expected to pick up approximately £3m in legal fees.

But as well as the legal defeat, experts also believe revelations made during the trial will most likely damage her reputation.

In a statement, wife of football legend Wayne Rooney said she was “pleased” the ruling went in her favour however she “never believed” the case should have gone to court in the first place.

Parts of the statement read: “At such expense in times of hardship for so many people when the money could have been far better spent helping others”.

Meanwhile, Vardy added she was “disappointed” in the result.
