Love Island producers were allegedly ‘forced to step in’ as things got heated at filming for the reunion.
The ITV2 dating show came to an end on Monday, with a reunion special set to air this weekend.
Hosted by Laura Whitmore, the reunion was filmed in London on Thursday night and one of the event’s attendees has claimed that a “very heated exchange” erupted between Coco Lodge and Summer Botwe.

The Casa Amor bombshells are said to have come to blows over previous comments made by Coco about Josh Le Grove.
While appearing on the Saving Grace podcast, Coco appeared to express regret about not sleeping with Josh while the pair stayed in a villa after their dumping from the show.
The comments followed Summer and Josh exploring a romantic connection before Josh’s exit from the villa.
Asked if she had s*****d Josh, Coco replied: “No and I’m actually annoyed because I feel like I could have now.
“Talking to him now after I’m like I feel like it could have happened.”
Posting to Twitter after watching the reunion live in-studio, Twitter user @hattietoll suggested Coco and Summer came to blows about the comments.
They wrote: “Just been at the #LoveIsland reunion episode filming, very heated exchange between Coco and Summer production had to step in and close it down.
“Summer made a comment about friends not being real friends on the outside, and Coco was trying to defend herself by saying ‘It was all banter’.
“[They] kept going back and forth over the boys (Josh & Billy) for a fair few minutes, production [obviously] had no idea of context from podcast ep.”
Coco is said to have exited filming after the tense exchange, with audience members tasked with cheering her back in.
Meanwhile, Love Island runner-up Luca Bish was spotted running to his co-stars Jay Younger, Charlie Radnedge and Antigoni Buxton for context on their feud.
Luca was later spotted exiting a club and claiming his beau Gemma Owen ‘had the hump’ with him.
Love Island: The Reunion airs at 9pm on Sunday (August 7) on ITV.
