Alan Carr fumed at a contestant on his Epic Gameshow on Saturday night (August 6), when he was “compared to Gollum” from Lord Of The Rings.
On Saturday night the self-confessed chatty man headed up the classic British gameshow of Play Your Cards Right on ITV.
Welcoming four couples from the general public to their podiums to play the classic game of higher or lower, there was a £30,000 jackpot up for grabs.

But chaos descended on the studio when Sunny, who was playing with wife Chaz, did some really great celebrity impressions while on the show.
Sunny and Chaz were being introduced onto the show when Chaz revealed that her husband was rather good at doing celebrity impressions.
Alan quickly asked if he could take him off, but Sunny seemed a little taken aback and quickly offered to do an impression of Gollum.
After being posed the question by the comedian, Sunny said: “I can do Gollum?”
A question that left Alan fuming, and then quipping back with: “Let me work out if that’s an insult.”
Laughing it off, Alan was then very impressed by Sunny’s impression of Gollum (see the video above).
He then went on to do an impression of Liam Neeson from the movie franchise Taken – again, impressing Alan, the audience in the studio and viewers watching at home.
Later on in the show, Alan asked Sunny to do his Gollum impression again and the crowd roared with laughter.
But one fan was tired of the impressions and took to Twitter to beg: “Enough with the impressions Sunny.”
The original series of Play Your Cards Right broadcast on ITV from 1980 to 1987, and was hosted by Bruce Forsyth.
Brian Conley was then supposed to head up the show from 1994 to 1999, but beloved Bruce made an epic comeback.
