Anne Heche's never seen final film will still debut following her tragic death

A new film starring Anne Heche about sex trafficking is still due to air in the US despite the death of the actress following a horror crash.

Anne passed away at the age of 53 after she was taken off life support as doctors declared her brain dead following the accident.

The Television Critics Association press conference for “Girl in Room 13” still went ahead on Thursday while Anne was still on life support.

“This project is important to each and every one of us,” said Amy Winter, executive vice-president and head of programming during the panel.

The film aims to “bring attention to the appalling issue of human sex trafficking” – a topic network bosses say “inspired” Anne during production.

Rohm said: “Although [Anne] is deeply missed, right now, I will say the film is finished and she did a phenomenal performance – a tour de force.”

Anne’s death was announced last night (Friday) by her close friend Nancy Davis who lead the tributes after her life support was switched off.
