Rita Ora might be a bit peachy. But Big Breakfast fans were left bemused when the singer complained about a “dusty apple” that had been left in her hotel room.
However, the hosts of the rebooted Channel 4 show explained to the pop star and Masked Singer judge that the fruit was in fact… a peach.
Appearing on a video link yesterday (Saturday) Ora began complaining about the state of the “apples” in her Los Angeles hotel room, saying: “I just looked in my fruit bowl… a dusty apple. Look at this! Can you see it?”

She added: “I don’t even know if it’s an apple, I think it might be a shrivelled pear.”
Big Breakfast host AJ Odudu replied: “I’m sorry to break it to you. It’s a peach, not an apple,” to which Ora, who was calling in on American time, said: “Is it? It’s 3am guys, give me a break!”
Co-presenter Mo Gilligan added: “Rita is obviously a lady who doesn’t go to the supermarket.”
One viewer told the singer: “Love you but you might need to get stronger glasses babes,” as another wrote: “Rita Ora thinking a peach was a ‘dusty apple’. She lives on her own planet. I love her.”

Masked Singer host Joel Dommett, who was also a guest on the show, pointed out some of Ora’s other gaffes, with one relating to a boxer behind one of the disguises, saying: “Rita, she once guessed Muhammad Ali. That’s the stupidest guess of all time.
