EastEnders Lewis fate 'sealed' as fans figure out secret Ben recording twist

EastEnders fans have predicted that Ben Mitchell recorded Lewis Butler after his shocking rape confession.

During Wednesday’s visit to Albert Square, viewers were treated to the panicle of the Londoner’s devastating sexual assault storyline after Phil Mitchell kidnapped the Irish hunk in an effort to get revenge for what he did to his son.

In the nail-biting episode, the TV gangster held his son’s abuser at gunpoint as he demanded him to confess to his crimes in a grungy basement.

As he bent down to Lewis with his gun pointed firmly at his chest he finally got the admission he had been looking for.

He asked: “Did you or did you not hear me say no? Well, did you?” to which the abuser glumly nodded as he held his head in shame.

Ben then asked him to recall the night’s events as he forced him to confess to his crimes.

Lewis admitted: “We started kissing and I undid your shirt. You said you wanted to stop, I ignored you and carried on. I raped you.”

After finally pulling the cruel admission from Lewis’ lips, the star pressed on and asked if he had raped other people in the past or whether this was the first time he had sexually assaulted someone.

It was at this point that viewers shared their theories as to whether or not Ben had recorded the incriminating conversation on his phone.

Fans soon flooded to Twitter to share their thoughts on the next stage of the heartbreaking storyline online.
