Changing Rooms fans have branded to new series as “bland” as complaints begin to mount up about the new format.
Back in 2021 Anna Richardson took to the hosting helm, steering the show along and visiting the designers at work.
However, when the retro programme from the 90s made a grand return this year the Channel 4 presenter was absent from the second series.

Viewers have since complained that the new host-less show “doesn’t flow as it did” with masses taking to their keyboards to ask producers to bring back the Naked Attraction star.
One person demanded: “Why’d @Channel4 get rid of the presenter on #ChangingRooms as it doesn’t flow as it did. Bring back @AnnaRichardso NOW!!”
A second moaned: “Changing Rooms just doesn’t work as well without a presenter. I can sort of see why, but it needs someone to ground it (and/or take the p**s). #ChangingRooms.”
Another chimed in: “At the very least #ChangingRooms should have the voiceover guy from come dine with me…”
While others added: “Very bland this series so far, preferred last series,” and “Bring back them 2 odd designer blokes and Anna Richardson.”
It was recently announced that Anna would not be returning for a second year with the Changing Rooms team.
Instead Lawrence Llewelyn-Bowen would be holding the fort as both a designer and sort of host.
According to reports Anna’s schedule was just too demanding for 2022, meaning she didn’t have time to return to home improvements programme.
A source told the Sun newspaper: “One of the most eye-catching transformations on the show is the presenter. Apparently Anna was too busy filming on other projects to take part.
“Laurence isn’t taking over as host — he’ll still be a designer. But he’s very much the frontman, as the official image for the show suggests.”
