Katie Price's horse riding company left with £600 in the bank – and £12,000 of debt

Katie Price’s horse riding company is thousands of pounds in debt.

The 43-year-old former glamour model has famously shared her love of horses and she launched her newest equine venture, the KP Equestrian range.

The company sells products such as £39.99 riding leggings, £40 hoodies, £53 body warmers, and a range of T-shirts and other tops for women, men and kids.

However, new accounts reveal that just after 18 months of trading, the brand only has £636 of cash in the bank.

The former reality star launched her newest business venture in an attempt to claw back from bankruptcy after it was revealed the star owed more than £3million pounds.

Documents filed to Companies House showed the company owes £12,460 to its creditors.

Accountants value the firm as being worth £21,084, with cash reserves at £636 and stock valued at £22,908.

However from November 2020 to April 2022 show the brand was owed £10,000 by a “debtor”.

On her website, Katie detailed her love of horses: “Horses have always been a big part of my life since I was a little girl.”

She added: “I used to spend hours at the yard when I was a teenager grooming, mucking out, learning to ride, trimming, practicing my plaiting, hanging out with friends, grooming again and just being around the horses.”

Katie also confessed through the website that her love of horses stems from the fact that she uses them to escape from the struggles of the world.

She stated: “I always made time for the horses, as it’s the only place where I could fully switch off and just enjoy my hobby. Horses are my happy place and where I can take time out and calm my soul.”

The My Crazy Life star added: “With horses having been such a large part of my life for so long I’ve focused on getting my KP Equestrian range ready for you all, as it means so much to me.”
