Alan Carr takes savage swipe at Amanda Holden's 'tight-fitting clothes' on Epic Gameshow

Alan Carr took a brutal swipe at his pal Amanda Holden’s notorious “tight-fitting clothes” during his Epic Gameshow on ITV.

Hosting Name That Tune on Saturday night (August 20), Alan welcomed viewers and celebrity to the show when he took a brutal swipe at his pal Amanda.

“Evening guys,” he said to the camera.

“Yes, the tightest outfit seen on ITV since, well, pretty much anything Amanda Holden’s ever worn.”

Amanda is known for wearing risqué outfits and tight-fitting garments, which is why Alan made the sly jibe.

But after his swipe at Amanda, Alan laughed it off because in real life he and Amanda are close friends – with the pair having bought a house together recently.

Earlier this month on Good Morning Britain, Alan revealed that he had become home owner for the second time.

He went on to explain how he and Amanda had bought a home together in rural Sicily (Amanda’s favourite spot to holiday in the summer).

Charlotte Hawkins, who was hosting the ITV morning show said: “I am intrigued by this story that you have bought a house with Amanda Holden for a euro and you’re doing it up.”

Alan replied: “Yeah, I’m renovating – it might not even be worth a euro by the end of it though!”

In May it was announced that Amanda and Alan would be teaming up for The Italian Job on BBC One.

Amanda said at the time: “Alan and I came up with the idea for this show together and approached the BBC as we knew it was the perfect home.”

The series will see the pair of best friends renovate the house in an exciting eight-parter.

After the swipe at his pal during Epic Gameshow, Alan went on to welcome a slew of celebs to the show including the likes of Shane Richie, Gabby Logan, Vick Hope, and Richard Blackwood.

The foursome rook part in an all-star edition of Name That Tune where they attempted to name an array of songs that were played by an in-house band.

The celebs appeared and took part in a bid to win the £25,000 jackpot for their chosen charities.

Alan Carr’s Epic Gameshow airs every Saturday at 7pm on ITV and ITVHub.
