Emmerdale viewers were left distracted during the latest instalment of the ITV soap as Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) made a jaw-dropping discovery.
Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) and Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) enjoyed another steamy hotel session during Monday’s (August 22) episode.
As they left, the lovers shared a quick kiss and then parted aways, knowing they needed to return to the Dales separately to avoid suspicion.

Unfortunately for them, Belle had seen them together as she was at an event in the same hotel.
As an oblivious Al and Chas thought they’d got away with another secret rendezvous, fans took to Twitter to point out the fact Belle hadn’t been seen on screen for a while.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “Belle hasn’t been around for a while.”
Another added: “Belle is back in # Emmerdale I’d forgotten about her.”
A third person posted: “I wondered why Belle is back now we know..”
One of the main reasons why Chas has continued to see Al is the distraction as her mum Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter) battles terminal cancer.
Betraying her partner Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) and spending time with her brother Cain Dingle’s (Jeff Hordley) enemy is something Chas would much rather do as opposed to facing up to reality and the fact her mum doesn’t have long left to live.
Struggling after a meeting with Faithand her palliative care nurse, Chas joined Al, who is in a relationship with Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) for an afternoon at a posh hotel.
When Chas told Al that she doesn’t feel stressed when she’s with him, he promised they could continue seeing each other as it helps her.
Will Belle share her affair discovery with the rest of the Dingle clan?
Discussing this storyline, Kate Brooks recently revealed: “Soaps are naturally inclined to do affair storylines as they give you danger, they give you passion, they give you excitement, they give you broken hearts.
“So when we were looking at who to play out the next big affair storyline with, it just felt right that it was going to be Chas with Al, given all their history and Al was very much firmly against the Dingles.”
“All affairs must be exposed at some point and if that happens, what will that do to Kerry?”
Emmerdale airs weekdays on ITV at 7.30pm
