First Dates viewers distracted as 'Gordon Ramsay lookalike' appears on Channel 4 show

First Dates viewers were delighted after they tuned into the Channel 4 show to see one lucky hopeful who looked like a very famous TV chef.

Dan appeared on the show in search for love and told the camera that people usually notice his long arms first.

He went on a date with a personal trainer and things seemed to go well as they conversed over dinner.

The couple bonded and could be seen walking out of the restaurant arm in arm after their successful meal.

However, fans were more concerned about Dan’s celebrity lookalike and quickly turned to Twitter to discuss their thoughts.

Fans were amazed at the likeness

One said: “He’s got a bit of Gordon Ramsay and Dan Walker about him.”

Another disagreed and wrote: “He looks nothing like Gordon Ramsay.”

An eagle eyed tweeter added: “Gordon Ramsay laying on the charm.”

One viewer couldn’t help but joke: “‘Do you go out a lot?’ ‘Only when I’m not off road tripping with Gino and Fred’.”

First Dates star Fred Sirieiux’s daughter has been nominated for a National Lottery Good Causes Athlete of the Year award.

Some didn’t agree with the observation

The Channel 4 star took to Twitter to share the good news with his fans and shared a link to the website.

He told followers that she is up for the prize and afterwards added that he had voted for his daughter with the hashtag “go Andrea”.

His 17-year-old daughter recently represented England in the Commonwealth Games and earned a gold medal for diving.

Fred was sat in the audience at the time and proudly recorded Andrea as she dove from the platform into the water.

Soon after her huge achievement, she won yet another gold at the European Championships in Rome, which was her first individual title.

Her proud father boasted that it was “nail biting stuff” and a “great last dive,” but told his fans that Andrea has “nerves of steel”.

Fred “wished his love well done” and admitted that he and her family are “so proud of her,” before he called the athlete “his inspiration and a ray of sunshine,” and ended his sweet message with a kiss.
