BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty ‘enjoys’ Bradley Walsh ‘waking up to her’ in cheeky quip

BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty admitted she “enjoys” the fact that The Chase’s Bradley Walsh “wakes up to her” each morning in a cheeky quip.

During Saturday’s visit to the ITV studios, Bradley Walsh welcomed a slew of new contestants onto the show – but this time there was a celebrity twist.

The former Coronation Street star introduced Brendan Cole, Amanda Byram, Adam Thomas and Naga onto the show in a bid to raise money for their chosen charity.

And it’s fair to say the show went off with a bang with Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett only eliminating one contestant until he took on the brave newsreader.

Before she wowed fans with her impressive cash builder, the TV host interviewed her briefly about how she got into broadcast journalism.

However, the TV legend struggled to smoothly ask the question without fumbling on his worlds as viewers heard him confess that he “wakes up” to the raven-haired beauty each morning.

He said: “First of all, we all wake up with you in the morning,” to which she relied with: “I enjoy that very much” which caused the host to chuckle under his breath.

Bradders went on to ask what time in the morning Naga has to drag herself out of bed for in order to be at the BBC studios on time.

The broadcaster surprised viewers by saying: “Quarter to four” to which the dad-of-two joked: “You might as well be a milkman!”

Luckily, the TV presenter took the backhanded compliment on the shoulder and went on to battle it out to add an impressive £111,0000 to the joint jackpot.

However the reporter had clearly bitten off more than she could chew after she fell victim to the ITV gameshow and was sent home alongside Adam Thomas meaning the team only had £9,000 left in the pot to fight against The Beast.

And with only two team members left on the show, the pair sadly failed to take home any prize money this time round after they were beaten by the Chaser once again.
