Now, the Truth Tribe record label boss has spoken exclusively to the Daily star about his experience on the hit programme which airs on Friday nights.
Woody, who is set to headline Mucky Weekender, told the Daily Star: “It’s beautiful, I said it on the show but it’s the only time we hang out because we’re both very busy.
“One day we agreed to hang out and we both turned up to the Royal Chelsea Flower Show and my mum was like ‘You said you were going to hang out with me!’
“Gogglebox is great, it’s an excuse for us to natter while eating snacks, it’s great fun.”
The star continued: “I feel blessed to have probably the best job in the world, most people go and hang out with their mum and watch TV and I get paid to do it, it’s very surreal.
“The first time they offered it, mum said no and I was going ‘Mum, what’re you doing? You can’t say no to Gogglebox!’ and she was like ‘Well you were going to be at festivals and stuff like that’.
“We got offered it again the next year and I was so happy, it’s just a very fun experience and it is really natural.
“We just chat obnoxious amounts of crap for hours and they edit it down to the really funny minutes, so none of it is staged.”
Zoe and Woody were recently joined by her dad, Johnny Ball for an episode of the show which Woody described as “incredible”.
“It was incredible, just having my grandad come in and having to watch 50 Shades of Grey with us and then Love Island, it was a surreal experience.
Discussing his Mucky Weekender set, he added: “I think for me playing the set I’m going to play is very different to sets I’ve played at other places.
“I love reggae dub and I feel like there are not many places where I feel like it’s appropriate for me to spin that type of stuff, it gives me a good excuse to put on my reggae dub.
