Married At First Sight UK turns heated as Jenna and Zoe row over veganism

Married At First Sight fans saw a row brewing between Jenna Robinson and Zoe Clifton over veganism.

During the latest episode of the Channel 4 show, Zoe and Jenna enjoyed their first breakfast together while on their honeymoon.

But as they tucked into their dishes, the couple noticed their evident food differences as Jenna is a vegan and Zoe is a lover of meat.

As they both tried to understand each other, things became rather heated when Jenna informed Zoe of the sacrifices that took place to put the meat on her plate.

Due to the fact that Zoe clearly didn’t want to know, fans noticed the friction between the pair.

The couple disagreed on food during the latest episode

Jumping onto Twitter, viewers shared their thoughts.

One person wrote: “Zoe has the typical cognitive dissociation response to her saying she doesn’t want to know about the cruelty involved in her animal flesh, as Jenna said ignorance is bliss & just not willing to learn or change.”

Another penned: “If someone doesn’t wanna be vegan, they don’t wanna be f*****g vegan.. let the girl have a fucking steak and be done with it.”

A third shared: “Zoe is so ignorant!! Imagine thinking that asking a vegan to try meat is the same as asking a meat eater to try tofu. Then sat there insulting the vegan food. Then the worst ‘don’t tell me about animals dying it makes me sad’ – maybe stop eating it then, luv.”

Zoe is a happy meat eater but her wife Jenna is not

Meanwhile a fourth added: “I don’t think a meat eater and vegan can co exist lol.”

But although the couple had an initial spark, it was clear that things were starting to gradually fizzle out.

As the couple sat down to dine at a fancy restaurant in Iceland, it appeared as though things were becoming rather tense between the pair once again.

Jenna and Zoe couldn’t seem to see eye to eye

Vegan Jenna felt awkward as she didn’t want Zoe to chose a meat dish, meanwhile Zoe felt tense choosing a meal that was meat based.

As things reached boiling point, the pair later had a conversation about whether they did have a future.

But near the end of the programme, the couple admitted that they do have differences but they will learn to focus on the positives of the experiment rather then the negatives.
