Robbie Williams can't be a nudist because penis is 'too small to show off'

Robbie Williams is interested in taking up nudism – but says his penis is too small to show off.

The pop superstar appears naked on the cover of his upcoming album XXV recreating the pose held by French artist Auguste Rodin’s famous bronze sculpture the Thinker.

Robbie admits he has a carefree attitude to nudity at home, and often wanders around in the buff.

But although the Angels singer has thought about what it would be like to attend a nudist camp with his wife Ayda Field, ultimately he has decided he doesn’t measure up to show off his manhood to strangers enjoying a vacation.

He said: “I have no problem being naked.

“I only have a problem with how I look naked. I think if I had a bigger penis I might try nudism.

“But since this isn’t the case, I’ll leave it!

“It’s okay. I’m 48. I’ve gotten used to it.”

Robbie – who has battled with weight issues and insecurity his entire career – insists the image that fans will see of him on the cover of his new LP is not a real reflection of how he looks when nude at home.

But he agreed to the idea for the cover because he knows his face and body, can help sell records.

And not only this, but graphic designer Tom Hingston’s concept intrigued him as an artist.

The former Take That man said: “What you see on the cover is a computer generated version of the person who looks a bit like me.

“I’d like to say it was my idea, but it wasn’t. Tom Hingston, who designed a lot of my album covers, came up with the idea.

“As a pop star you have to be on the cover of your record because your face sells that stuff. I find that so annoying and so boring. I know my face. But I found this idea interesting and a bit weird. I was immediately hooked.”
