Married at First Sight viewers were not happy with one pairing that put together during Thursday’s instalment (September 15).
The hit E4 show made history during tonight’s episode when they brought two new couples into the experiment who prepared to walk down the aisle.
New singleton Sophie works high up in a tech company and admitted she was very career focused as well as “quite materialistic.”

“Money doesn’t buy you happiness but it certainly helps,” she added.
Sophie was paired with down-to-earth carpenter Jordan who later admitted he isn’t career driven.
Upon seeing the two, viewers immediately took to social media believing it could be one of the worst matches made on the show.
“Sophie and Johnathan’s pairing has to be one of the worst cases of “Ah f*** it, stick them together” during the matching process, that I’ve seen. #MAFSUK,” penned one.
A second fumed: “Another wonderful ‘match’ from the ‘experts’. Sick of them saying its about matching principles. Jonathan and Sophie are NEVER going to work.”
“Why would they match someone that’s all about their career with someone that’s not This poor guy is about to get eaten alive,” questioned another.
While many viewers fumed at Sophie’s dad who said: “The qualities that I’m looking for in this guy is honesty and that he’s fabulously wealthy,” as they believe he could cause a problem within their marriage.
“Sophie’s Dad will ruin this marriage. Like Jonathan is marrying him too,” exclaimed one user as another added: “Oh lord sophie’s dad comment… this isn’t going to end well.”

Elsewhere in the show, Gemma and Matt were paired together in a match that many deemed “perfect.”
The couple seemed to hit it off instantly and realised they had plenty in common.
Taking to social media about the new couple, one wrote: “Gemma and Matt are perfect together. And the vibe is just there already.”
“OMG, what a perfect match. Gemma and Matt NEED to work!” exclaimed a second as someone else echoed: “I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more perfect match #MAFSUK.”
