Piers Morgan brands professor 'disgrace' as she refuses interview after Queen death slur

Piers Morgan has taken another scathing swipe at professor Uju Anya after she refused to appear on his show following her searing comments on Queen Elizabeth II.

The 57 year old presenter was clearly infuriated with Uju after she took to Twitter to wish the late monarch an “excruciating” death on the day of her passing.

Although she received immense backlash from Piers and other celebrity figures, the Nigerian researcher remained firm in her remarks.

But since receiving criticism, the 46 year old took to Twitter to call out Piers for his attempt to get her to appear on his show on Talk TV.

Uju wrote: “Piers Morgan calling me ‘vile, disgusting moron’ while his producer calling me for an interview.”

Hitting back, the former Good Morning Britain presenter replied: “I definitely want to interview you. I’d like you to try repeating to my face that you hoped the Queen died in ‘excruciating pain.’ But I suspect like most vile ‘woke’ trolls, you won’t have the guts. Do you?”

However professor Uju was quick to disagree with his comments and responded: “No, Piers.

“You want to interview me, because your career died in excruciating pain, and you need the ratings. But I won’t let you chase clout off me. Like I said, I no dey put food for my enemy mouth.”

Piers then scathed: “So like I thought, you don’t have the guts to repeat your disgusting slurs about the Queen to someone who would hold you to account for them. You’re not just a disgrace but a cowardly disgrace.”

Uju’s original tweet, which she has now deleted, received a harsh response from several upset Twitter users.

The researcher initially penned: “I heard the chief monarch of a thieving raping genocidal empire is finally dying.

“May her pain be excruciating.”

When she was called out for her tweet, Uju added: “I’m not wishing her dead. She’s dying already.

“I’m wishing her an agonizingly painful death like the one she caused for millions of people.”

Seeing her unemotional comments, CEO of Tesla Motors Elon Musk replied: “This is someone supposedly working to make the world better? I don’t think so. Wow.”
